Doyle and the Saturdays sat together and ate Chinese food during one warm night.
Drew's expression happened to be one of disgust when Doyle wolfed down his chicken lo mein.
''Mom did not raise you in a barn!'' she stated. She frowned as the noodles hung out of his
closed mouth. She growled while glancing at Zak drinking his won ton soup.
She folded her arms and tapped a finger against one of them repeatedly.
''Since when do you have a weak stomach, Drew?'' Doc asked.
He chose not to say anything when she scowled. He also saw one of her raised eyebrows.
He ate his dinner in silence. The married man kissed her face in order to pacify her.
He smiled when he saw her warm expression.
''It's fortune cookie time!'' Zak Saturday exclaimed while grinning.
He and his relatives took the cookies and opened them. His mother looked surprised when
she saw her fortune. ''You will find true love tonight?'' she muttered.
She stared at her spouse who consumed the wafer. *I'm looking at my true love right now!*
she thought.
Drew's small smile returned while her dark eyes remained on Doc Saturday.
She proceeded to sit next to him before touching his hand. She kissed him on the lips.
She observed the kind look on her spouse's face. Doyle whispered to Zak.
''I thought I was disgusting!'' he stated.
Drew ceased kissing Doc and scowled again. ''I heard that!'' she said while her sibling
looked up at the ceiling and whistled. She continued to focus on the man she loved.
She remembered her wedding day which happened to be one of the happiest days of her life.
Her lips touched his mouth again. ''You are my one and only true love, Solomon ''Doc''
Saturday!''
Later that evening, the female Saturday slept in her spouse's arms.
She hoped to see him in her dream. She observed her environment which consisted of a
college campus. She searched for Doc until she found herself in the arms of
Leonidas Van Rook who happened to be her former lover! Her dark eyes increased in size
while Van Rook kissed her. She woke up which caused her nightmare to vanish.
That was when she discovered the true meaning of the cookie's message.
She really did find her true love that night.
