Vincent Vladislav Argost allowed the dark shadows to conceal him as he fled from the
angry mob. The forest twigs snapped under his black feet while he ran.
Tears streamed down his white face. It was his fault for drinking the young woman's blood
for a long period of time. How could he allow others to see him near her body?
He winced as the stones hit his back.
Various horrible thoughts entered Vincent Vladislav Argost's mind.
He imagined the furious men pouring holy water on him or driving a stake through his heart.
He continued to shriek and run. Returning to his coffin was out of the question.
He looked over his shoulder. His current expression was one of absolute horror.
Argost literally ran into a tall man who had short hair and a gaunt face.
He was confused when the stranger grabbed his hand and began to run.
''Who are you and where are you taking me?'' he inquired. He was annoyed when the fellow
failed to answer his questions. He found himself with a large cave. The other man placed
a bony hand over his fanged mouth as the mob ran by.
Vincent Vladislav Argost blinked a few times. A very grateful smile formed on his
pale face. ''Thank you for saving my life. I suppose this answers my second question.
What about my first inquiry?'' A warm expression appeared on the stranger's bony face.
''I am Munya,'' he said. ''Oh. I'm Vincent Vladislav Argost!'' the long-haired creature
of the night spoke. ''Interesting name!'' Munya stated before Argost thanked him.
''I have another question!'' Vincent said. The other man nodded at a snail's pace.
''Why did you save me?'' Argost asked. He gasped when Munya grinned and revealed his fangs!
''You are a vampire like me?!'' Vincent squawked. Munya began to laugh in a quiet tone.
''That is why I rescued you from the mob. We creatures of the night have to stick together!
How did you reveal your true nature?'' he wished to know.
Argost seemed very ashamed as he stared at the ground.
''Well, I saw this young woman....'' he began. ''You chose to drink her blood and
remained near her long enough for others to see you!'' Munya finished.
Vincent proceeded to nod. ''Like I said, we have to stick together!'' his companion
repeated. He and Argost smiled while staring at one another. ''I know this is going to
sound silly, but....'' the long-haired creature started.
Munya seemed a little surprised before nodding again. ''Perhaps we are destined to be
together,'' the golden-eyed vampire said. ''Your comment isn't silly at all. To be honest,
I also saved you because I....love you!'' the tall man admitted. Vincent gasped and was
quiet for a few seconds. ''It was love at first sight!'' the short-haired man spoke.
Vincent Vladislav Argost started to blush and smile. He and Munya closed their eyes
and kissed one another. He allowed him to sit behind his body and rip his black shirt open.
His bare upper body was revealed when the garment slid down his white arms.
His other dark garments were removed with the exception of his underwear.
Munya rubbed and kissed Vincent's pale chest and stomach.
The vampires continued to express their love for one another until they saw the light sky.
They exchanged glances and went to the back of the dark cave.
They proceeded to rest on their sides as they embraced and kissed each other.
They wrapped their legs around their underwear-clad bodies.
''I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you, my love'' Argost whispered.
Munya kissed his white face again. ''I love you'' he heard Vincent whisper.
Both vampires slept together and smiled as the morning sun appeared.
